Terms and Conditions for Staycation Packages
1. Booking and Rates
1.1 Rates and Conditions:
- Rates are subject to change without notice. Once a booking is confirmed, the rate will not be altered unless there are legislative changes or errors.
- Prices are quoted and payable in local currency (e.g., AU$).
1.2 Booking Amendments:
- Amendments to bookings will result in the recalculation of rates as per the date of amendment.
1.3 Electronic Signatures:
- Electronic signatures are accepted for booking confirmations and agreement entries.
2. Stay Duration
2.1 Calculation of Stay Days:
- Stay days are calculated on a calendar day basis.
- The day of check-in and check-out are both counted as full days.
2.2 Minimum Stay Periods:
- Minimum stay periods may vary and will be communicated before booking confirmation.
2.3 Late Check-In/Check-Out:
- Late check-in or early check-out does not entitle you to a refund for unused portions of the stay.
3. Check-In and Check-Out
3.1 Condition of Property:
- The property will be provided in a clean condition.
- Guests must return the property in a similar clean condition to avoid additional cleaning charges.
3.2 Cleaning Fee:
- A cleaning fee may be charged if the property is not returned in a clean condition. The fee amount will be specified in the booking details.
4. Cancellation and Amendments
4.1 Cancellation Fees:
- Cancellations must be notified via email and are effective upon acknowledgment by the company.
- Fees for cancellation vary based on the notice period before the check-in date:
- Up to 61 days prior: a nominal fee (e.g., $100).
- 60 to 31 days prior: a higher fee (e.g., $350).
- 30 to 8 days prior: a percentage of the gross rental (e.g., 20%).
- 7 to 1 days prior or no-show: a higher percentage or full gross rental (e.g., 50% to 100%).
4.2 Amendment Fees:
- Amendments after booking confirmation may incur an administrative fee.
- Changes to booking dates or property type may be treated as cancellations, and the appropriate fees will apply.
5. Use of Property
5.1 Occupancy and Conduct:
- The property must be used for accommodation purposes only.
- Guests must not engage in illegal activities or create disturbances for neighbors.
5.2 Pets and Smoking:
- Pets are only allowed if explicitly approved.
- Smoking inside the property is prohibited. Additional cleaning fees apply for violations.
6. Damage and Liability
6.1 Guest Responsibility:
- Guests are responsible for any damage to the property or its contents during their stay.
- A security deposit may be required and will be refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the property.
6.2 Liability Cover:
- Guests may have the option to purchase liability cover to reduce their financial responsibility for damages.
7. Emergencies and Assistance
7.1 Emergency Contacts:
- Guests will be provided with contact details for emergency assistance during their stay.
